New for 2024
This year, the Gatineau Loppet is introducing some exciting new features to meet participants’ expectations.

The “Discovery” waves
Launched in 2022 for the 5 km, 10 km, 15 km and 27 km races, these waves are aimed at skiers who want to discover cross-country skiing or who want to run untimed races, while benefiting from the logistics put in place by the organization (markers, safety, refreshments…). They allow you to tackle the events without any competitive spirit, just for the fun of it! In 2024, “Discovery” waves will also be offered for the two 50 km races (free technique and classic)!

The “Junior U30 Challenge”
Sanctioned by Nordiq Canada, will replace the Junior U23 category, and will take place on Sunday February 18 during the 27 km free technique race. This update is designed to attract as many young athletes as possible and encourage the next generation of Canadian cross-country skiers!

Other new features await skiers at this 46th edition and will be revealed shortly!
