Whether you are an athlete, amateur or just curious, come take up the challenge of a snowshoe race in Gatineau Park and enjoy all the activities of the 41th edition of the Gatineau Loppet.
- 2km: departure at 1:20 p.m.
No timed, the race is specially designed for children.
- 5km (map): departure at 1:20 p.m.
Will follow the path 64 and 65.
- 10km (map): departure at 1:20 p.m.
The route of 10km will follow the path 64 and 65 (2 times).

The snowshoe race must be done entirely with snowshoes on. To be eligible for prizes, competitors must run with snowshoes greater than or equal to 18 centimeters wide (7 inches) by 51 centimeters long (20 inches). If you don’t have snowshoes, one of our sponsors will loan 25 pairs of snowshoes to registered participants.
ChampionChip : Competitors MUST wear their Chip on their right ankle. Any competitor without their Chip or with the wrong chip will be automatically disqualified given that it will then be impossible to accurately track them on the course. The Chip must be returned at the finish line or you will be charge $40.
Bib: Competitors MUST wear their bib chest-level at the front. Any competitor without thei bib, who wears it incorrect, will be automatically disqualifier given that we will unable to track them on the course. The color of the bin corresponds to the sign colours on the course. Competitor must keep their bib and show it to the volunteers at the “Sac des skieurs” area at the Relais plein air to recover their clothes and get their post-race meal.
Feeding stations: In addition to the one at the finish line, there will be another feeding station along the course Each will provide an assortment of food and beverages. Fuit bars are provided by Fruit2.
Award ceremony : The awards ceremony will take place at the Ski show on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The schedule is subject to change. Skiers must be on hand to receive their prizes or awards. Prizes will be given out once the results are official. All awards, pins and prizes must be claimed during the weekend. The results will be posted in the Bistro l’Après-Ski and on the Web (www.gatineauloppet.com).
Bus service: Daily bus passes are on sale at the information booth at a cost of $3.05 while free shuttle transportation from the official hotels of the Gatineau Loppet and the location area (to be confirmed).
