Race map: on a golf course, a 6.2 km semi-hilly loop repeated 2, 4 or 6 times, depending on the chosen race.

  • Numbered frame plate pick up – 7:00 a.m.
  • On site registration (cash only) – 7:00 a.m.
  • Close of registration/plate pick up – 10:15 a.m.
  • Medio (25 km) and Enduro (37 km) simultaneous start – 9:00 a.m.
  • Sprint (12 km) start – between 11:00 and 11:15 a.m.
  • Post race lunch – 11:30 to 2:00 p.m.


For the combined start of the 25 and 37 km, the number of participants is limited to 120, and limited to 50 participants for the 12 km.

Note : for the Medio and Enduro, for M as well as for W, a minimum participation of 5 racers per race is required to have access to the prizes below. If the requirement is not met, only the 1stplace prize will be provided.

Sprint (12 km): M/W (free 2020 registration for the 1st man and 1stwoman)

Medio (25 km): M/W (free 2020 registration for the top 3 M/W)

Enduro (37 km): M/W (free 2020 registration for the top 3 M/W) + 125 $, 75 $ et 50 $ to the top 3 M/W)


Fédération québécoise des sports cyclistes rules apply to fat bike races.

Winter events like fat bike races are meant only for fatbikes with tire width larger than 3.5 inches. Making use of « house made » studs and screws or any other house made changes to a bike are not authorized. Tires with studs are authorized under the following conditions only:

  • The studs cannot extend beyond 3 mm above the tire’s thread
  • The tires were manufactured with studs or the added studs were specifically made for cycling.Here is an example of what is acceptable.



Chip: Competitors MUST wear their chip on their right ankle. Any competitor without their chip or with the wrong chip will be automatically disqualified given that it will then be impossible to accurately track them on the course. The Chip must be returned at the finish line or you will be charge $40.

Numbered frame plate: Competitors MUST position their numbered plate at the front of the bike, tying it to the handlebar.  Any competitor without their plate, or positioning their plate incorrectly, will be automatically disqualified given that we will unable to track them on the course. Competitor must remove and keep their plate and show it to the volunteers at the “Sac des skieurs” area to recover their clothes and get their post-race meal.

Race circuit and weather: should weather or snow conditions be unfavourable, the organization reserves the right to shorten or cancel the races.

Feeding stations: There is only one, located at the Start/Finish line. It provides an assortment of food and beverages.

Meal:Golf Hautes Plaines’ reception hall

Award ceremony: The awards ceremony, for all races, will take place at the Golf Hautes Plaines reception hall around 1:30 p.m. The schedule is subject to change.  Skiers must be on hand to receive their prizes. The results will be posted in the reception hall.

Parking: On Citadelle Avenue and streets nearby. Respect the City’s signage. No parking will be allowed on the golf Hautes Plaines’ parking lot as it is the Start/Finish area.
