GATINEAU LOPPET RACE WAX SERVICE POWERED BY FRESH AIR EXPERIENCE
Fresh Air Experience, the Official Ski Service Provider to the
Gatineau Loppet 2020, is excited to offer you the fastest wax on the
course. Leave your iron at home, and trust that the team who knows
Gatineau Park better than anyone will ensure that you have the best
possible glide wax for the snow conditions.
Condition appropriate LF and HF paraffins layered for durability and a
For classic skis we can iron in a base binder for an additional fee.
Skiers are responsible for marking their wax pocket prior to service.
Classic racers will be responsible for selecting and applying their
own kick/grip wax. We will be testing and have our suggestion
available at the Fresh Air Experience booth at the Gatineau Loppet Expo on
Saturday, however we cannot apply kick/grip wax on site.
The cost is $125 per pair. Book your service by January 31, 2020,
through the Fresh Air Experience website and save $25!
Skis can be dropped off at Fresh Air Experience at 1291 Wellington St
West in Ottawa up until 8pm on Thursday February 13th. Those who
choose to drop their skis off at the retail location will receive a
free pair of Fresh Air ski ties or ski sleeves.
You can also drop off your skis to the Fresh Air Experience kiosk/tent
at the Gatineau Loppet Expo. Cut off is 5pm the day before your race.
- Classic race cut-off: 5pm (17:00) Friday, February 14th.
- Skate race cut-off: 5pm (17:00) Saturday, February 15th.
Absolutely no exceptions to cut-off times.

CL27). Also, ensure that your skis have no ski ties/straps on them,
especially if they have sentimental value.
Pick Up Procedure:
Your skis will be available at the Gatineau Loppet Expo only from 7am
on the day of your race. This will provide those doing a distance
event with ample time to get to their shuttle for 7:45. Skis will
remain at the Fresh Air booth/tent for those participating in races
later in the day.
