Whether you are an athlete, amateur or just curious, come take up the challenge of the Provincial snowshoe Championship in Gatineau Park and enjoy all the activities of the 42nd edition of the Gatineau Loppet.
- 2km: departure at 1:20 p.m.
Not timed, the race is specially designed for children.
- 5km (map): departure at 1:20 p.m.
Will follow path 65.
- 10km (map): departure at 1:20 p.m.
The route of 10km will follow paths 65 and 66 (2 times).

The snowshoe race must be done entirely with snowshoes on. To be eligible for prizes, competitors must run with snowshoes greater than or equal to 18 centimeters wide (7 inches) by 51 centimeters long (20 inches).
ChampionChip : Competitors MUST wear their Chip on their right ankle. Any competitor without their Chip or with the wrong chip will be automatically disqualified given that it will then be impossible to accurately track them on the course. The Chip must be returned at the finish line or you will be charged $40.
Bib: Competitors MUST wear their bib chest-level at the front. Any competitor without their bib or who wears it incorrectly, will be automatically disqualified given that we will be unable to track them on the course. The color of the bib corresponds to the sign colors on the course. Competitors must keep their bib and show it to receive their post-race meal.
Feeding stations:In addition to the one at the finish line, there will be another feeding station along the course. Each will provide an assortment of food and beverages. Nutrition bars are provide by Xact nutrition.
Awards ceremony : The awards ceremony will take place at the Ski show on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. The schedule is subject to change. Skiers must be on hand to receive their prizes or awards. Prizes will be given out once the results are official. All awards, pins and prizes must be claimed during the weekend. The results will be posted in the Bistro l’Après-Ski and on the Web.
